The first picture shows a very happy Lynne with a Tench caught at a local club water using simple waggler set-up, size 16s hook and two red maggots. The second picture shows Lynne again, this time with a 12lb. Mirror Carp caught while on holiday using a dog biscuit on the surface.

The picture on the left shows Elspeth and Cameron aged 7, and Jarvis aged just 5!   These youngsters were very happy with the results of a coaching session that produced a mixed bag of Gudgeon, Roach and Perch caught at the Browning Cudmore complex in North Staffordshire.

Scott's first fish, the most important fish you will ever catch, a small perch. Jake's first fish, the most important fish you will ever catch, also a small perch.

These two pictures can be treasured by Scott and Jake for the rest of their lives. They may be tiddlers, but the first fish you catch is always pretty special, in this case both small perch. Scott looks very pleased, but poor old Jake had trouble hanging on to his, this perch wanted to get away!

Victoria with a 8lb Mirror Carp caught at local water Mick with 17lb. Mirror Carp, a personal best for this species of fish!

Victoria with an 8lb mirror carp, and the other picture is of the Master at work (thats me in case you did not know), with a 17lb mirror carp - a personal best for me. As you can see from the picture I am a tad pleased with myself! Both fish were caught while on holiday at Red House Farm near Lincoln - see the Links Page.

Mr. Trevor Pervin at Browning Cudmore with a Barbel James Ellams with a 3lb bream

The picture above left shows Mr. Trevor Pervin at the Browning Cudmore complex. Trevor has had a break from fishing of no less than 40 years!! So what a fantastic day for him when he caught his first barbel, in fact the first such fish he has ever seen.

Above right we have James Ellams with a 3lb bream caught while on holiday at Red House farm in Lincolnshire, using sweetcorn as bait. Earlier that day James caught a 10lb mirror carp using bread as bait.
